Here at snowtographers we try to keep our advertising relevant to our members. No ads about horseback riding across Europe, quality furniture or how to grow your peep. Strictly photo and video related.
We have thousands of photographers and cinematographers visit Snowtographers.com each month and each one of them is a potential sale for you. Because we have such strict standards of the type of ads we show, your ads reach your target market more efficiently. Even though we cannot compete with the larger advertisers such as Google, we offer a far better turnaround. Don’t waste your time and money on “general” advertising when you can market directly to your consumer. Plus we have a greater number of returning visitors because there aren’t annoying ads everywhere.
Which advertising opportunity is right for you?
We offer multiple ways to advertise on Snowtographers. Even if you’re a small company, we can accommodate your budget. You can sponsor a single post, multiple posts, a contest, a category, tag (keyword), search, pages, a certain member group, Home page or all the above. You can even advertise one product on one page and another on a different one. Further targeting your advertising.
How long should I advertise for?
We offer monthly advertising as well as packages. Our site grows monthly and our price reflects the growth so lock in your price today and get a discount for multiple months.
How many people will I reach?
This depends on what content and how long you advertise for. In one month we have over 2,000 visits, 8,000 pageviews and 4+ pages per visit. That means if you advertised on every page your ad would have over 35,000 views. That’s in one month alone! This will only increase with time so reserve a spot before your competitor does!
What if I want to sponsor something specific?
If you would like to sponsor a specific page, article or contest please contact us ahead of time. We currently post a new article about twice a week and contests are held monthly.

Looks super sick! I will definitely consider it when i go to get a new pack
I was looking to go pick up some triggers and a flash, and this helps a ton. thanks for the advice!
Worked there
that looks sick, how important is a bag like this and how much are they? i have just a carry around bag for my nikon and gl2 but this would make carrying it skiing easier
I would say it’s a necessity for anyone who skis with their camera. They range anywhere from $80 or $250, which this one was. You pay for quality and comfort but it’s completely worth it in the long run.
i guess the forum posts do come through as comments. (nice little way to post whore
Hmm, that’s interesting. You guys don’t use the standard 3 point lighting setup? fill, key and back?
It says basic and it says I’ll talk about more advanced lighting later. Most of the time, there is no need for a backlight on hill or in urban settings.

god that handdrag photo is amazing
wow, a lot of those shots are dope, i love the hand drag and the kill/murder one. really cool stuff man!
sick stuff, i really like the kill/murder one
I have some posters of Tom Wallisch’s rodeo by Matt if anyone wants to buy one.
Here is the picture http://mypostersown.com/wp-content/uploads/wpsc/product_images/Jeronimo%20Wallisch-2.jpg
Just get at me and I’ll hook you up.
I use the older satori, which is simmilar in external dimensions to this pack.
I love it to death, there are only three things I would want to change about that pack.
1) change the top zippers to make them easier to open close – they fixed that
2) deepen the ICU – they did that
3) add plastic to the back panel so that camera gear does not poke me in odd places – easy to do on your own, cardboard also works.
The bag keeps my gear dry, very dry. It carries a lot of stuff, and it is international carry on size. It just slides into the overhead compartment very nicely, no shoving necessary.
One of the better packs for carrying a lot of weight long distances for a long time. It is pricy, but very much worth it. I think that your bag is the most important part of your camera gear, since the easier and more comfortable it is to take your camera with you, the more places you will take it.
That hand drag photo is framed on my wall – I had Matty sign it with his tablet…such an amazing shot.
this is so sick!
i’m not sure i got it…. with your cybersync, is it wireless or the flashes a connected with the triger
Fully wireless from the camera to the flash. The receiver to the flash requires a cord.
so sick!
I just got back from 10 days of skiing in Washington and will have some more to write about this bag soon.
These photos are marginal at best. Sorry man. No light on the pow shots, guy in the sky snowboard shots. Are you a professional photographer?
You should check out his website then. http://www.chipkalback.com
nice shot of the ciga fella.
Matt, these are a small collection of marginal shots mostly from this season, as I’m saving my favorites for magazine submissions, ad consideration, etc. Please feel free to post your portfolio website link so readers can see your work. Thanks for reading the interview!
pterodactyl blood – so epic!
Really nice photos. Something different and not just usual ski/board photography. Will have to check out your website.
Also a really good interview, seems like you made the jump to am/pro photographer very quickly! Would you say it’s who you know in the industry that gets you places? (Not to take anything away from your talent, sorry! haha)
Oh and i especially like the one of the chick snowboarder. Great timing, you can see her concentration/nerves without even seeing her eyes!
Cam, thanks very much for the compliment. I would definitely say that who you know in the industry helps, but it’s not everything. If you can’t deliver what someone is looking for, and you aren’t handling things in a relatively professional way, then people move on to the next guy. I think as long as you keep your standards high from how you shoot to how you handle business, and everything in between, that overall you and whoever you’re shooting for will be pleased with the results.
I’ve got an F-Stop Satori bag, and have been nothing but STOKED on the quality, comfort, and clever overall design of the bag. They are without a doubt worth every penny.
i liked your photos. great portfolio and interview
An receptor for beauty
Definitely looking to get a new bag and this one looks quite nice. Any other recommendations anyone might have besides this one? How many total lens do you think it could hold?
NVM the lens question
Glad the review could help.
Ended up getting this bag. I have a Petrol Cacoon bag right now and it's very uncomfortable with all my gear in it. Hopefully this is a step up.
The dimensions of the hpx are
Dimensions (H x W x D): 7.125'' x 6.125'' x 15.6875''
The Tilopa is
Internal Compartment Dimensions: 12” x 22” x 10”
You should have plenty of room
Will this hold an hpx170 alright and still have room to spare?
Did you find what you were looking for?
